Hi Justin. I believe I have one of these that your after. I’m assuming it’s this specific era of sleave you want to match another one?
Now I do use mine to take a ready made rod fishing but I’m not bothered that it’s the model that it is.
So entirely up to you. You can have mine if you need this specific type all I ask is simply replace it with another drennan that perhaps is easier to obtain.
If your after one on to try get it on the cheap or free then sorry I can’t help as like I say I actually use it.

Thats a generous offer Rich! These seem to be a rare item these days! I have a couple of these (double rod sleeve versions) and they do come up on FB marketplace occasionally so keep looking . . . alternatively the newer Specialist sleeves (in either double or single) are just as good if not better

It’s just a rod sleeve to me Chris. No sentimental or rarity value for me whatsoever. The op is welcome to have it should he be willing to sort me out with another of equal quality and functionality.

Ive been suffering with a hemorrhage at the back of my eye after a mountain bike crash making reading next to impossible.
The reason I'm looking for the original drennan version is just because I have one of the early drennan specialist rods that must be some 25+ years old and I just think it would be fitting to have a age related sleeve for my collection.
Ae regard to wanting something for nothing... I don't know where you get that impression from. My ad was clearly a invitation for anyone that it maybe of interest to, to open a dialogue.

I’ve no reason to replace this sleeve as with how often it’s used it will probably last forever but if you’d like to replace it with a different one for me then I’d be all to happy to swap.

This is my drennan specialist 12" sleeve. It's brand new. Infact this is the first time it's been outside for these photos. Design wise it's the same as the original, only with the updated logo and new design zip pulls. It still has the inner quiver pocket too. Unfortunately it didn't come in the drennan box as it should have. For some reason angling direct removed it from this and sent it in a royal mail jubilee sponsored plastic bag. Presumably to save on postage.

Yeah. Absolutely Justin that would be perfectly fine.
It’s a 12 foot sleeve and it’s green and it’s a decent quality one. If you want this specific type I’d be happy to swap no problem.
Obviously mine isn’t brand new but its in excellent condition.
