Wanted - 12ft Float/Match rod

My young son has finally expressed an interest in fishing (but with his mates not with his old man ) so I am looking for a 12ft float/match rod which is light but will put up with being strapped to a crossbar (takes you back dosen't it).

Budget is limited and ideally looking to collect within 25 miles of Stansted airport.

Do you have anything suitable?

I have a Shakespeare match/feeder rod 13' 3 piece one straight top one feeder section with 2 push in quivers that will cover most angles used for about 30 mins cost of 45 quid will sell for 35 delivered.

Hi Clive, thanks for the kind offer but I have tried him with my 13ft float rod and its just to long for him, he's been used to an 11ft whip. Les

Check out this link, the main title says its a 10ft rod but they are out of stock and there is a 12ft option in the drop down menu. For the price this rod is excellent, very light and strong. I have caught carp to 6lb and tench to 3lb on mine and it coped really well. You will not regret purchasing one of these for your son!
