Vapour shield more problems than it cures ?
I keep hearing about problems with peoples shelters going mouldy yet again a mate I spoke to today found mould growing because of it
the claim it reduces condensation seems false ?
as all it does is hide it the condensation clearly is STILL forming on the inside of the skin AND THEN if you pack up leaving the vapour shield in place the problems begin

the truth is it does NOT work like a skull cap or a winter skin where the air gap is on the outside
so my advice is carry a micro fibre sports towel when you pack up remove the vapour shield and be prepared to dry the shelter

I always dry out a brolley or shelter as soon as I get home. I’ve seen plenty house mould from being left collapsed and soaking wet. Not healthy at all.

but my point is some people DONT realise that its not dry behind the Vapour shield !
and so THINK it does not need drying out

I haven’t got a vapor shield. I do have an over rap which i can’t remember if I got condensation using it or not. Doesn’t come out often at all.

I'd never heard one before Gerry's post. Sounds like the same principle of a twin-skin? But removable?
