Trent Baits Freshwater Shrimp

Evening all

I've heard nothing but good things about the above mentioned, but has anybody tried this bait for Barbel? Craig at Trent Baits told me some Trent fish have come out on this particular mix, so I'm thinking of giving it a go on the Thames, as well as using it for my Carping..... I will be rolling it myself and applying it steadily to try and get it 'established' (if I can get it past the Bream).

Any info is welcome, Cheers :)

Don't know about barbel but what works for carp works for barbel (usually).
I've been using these this year for carp (both river and lake). Had plenty of fish on em.;)
Caviar and Black Pepper, using the Spicy Red Fish and Bird mix, if carping on river or still just go big 20mm or bigger, price them outta the market (so too speak)

Come to think about I'd wait til theres a bit of flood water before trying for barbel and due to the understandable lack of angling pressure on Oxon rivers big tends to out fish small for barbel, especially in spate.

Couldn't get the link to work Colin? Cheers for tip off though, I'll try and check 'em out. As for bait size on the Thames...... None of mine will be smaller than 30mm, and most will be bigger :D

30mm+ baits, whats that for, so once the crays have mullered it there's still some left for a fish to find??:D
Or do you know where the Thames catfish are hiding??;);) (cos going that big just results in bream getting foul hooked, damned things:rolleyes:)
