Nowthen all.Any help would be appreciated.Having returned this season to the world of dibbling after a twenty year lay off, yeah im getting on a bit,i am setting my stall out to specialise on Barbel, the Trent been only an hours drive.Did Collingham 3 weeks ago and blanked using tactics from twenty years ago i.e maggot feeders, hemp n caster.Granted the river was low and no one was catching except for a couple in the Weir.Would greatly appreciate any advice involving modern methods, venues etc concentrating on the Tidal.Mates of mine have had good catches on this stretch but over ten year ago, they concentrate all their efforts now in the pursuit of specimen eels.Am going this week armed with boilies, various pellets and meat as well as good ol maggots but i am still slightly naive following the Pellet revolution. As a newbie go easy on me.Ta.
