Tired legs on Chub chair.

Legs on my Chub low-lite chair will not lock in place and I get that sinking feeling...:(. Any one found a way to stop this...?

Does it have the "one handed" lever type thingies like bedchairs have?
I managed to sort one by stripping it down, and reversing the blade so it faced the other way up.

Chair leg grippers.

I had the same problem, asked for a remedy on here and somebody, may even have been Phil , suggested that I turn the steel plates around as Phil suggested above....... so I tried and it worked a treat, problem is I dont know what to do when the same thing happens again...maybe Chub can supply replacements ?

Hi Guys,
the locking system relies on the sharpness on the edge of the hole in the plate, if you file across the plate, this will cure the problem, as already mentioned, if you turn the plate over this will solve the problem as well.
good luck, and don't fall in.
Brian.
ps .....only file across the flat of the plate, do not file into the hole, this done just to create the sharpness on the edge of the hole, don't over do it.
