Tidal Trent

Regarding fishing the tidal stretches of the Trent, I am told the best times are just before and around 2 hrs after high water .
Does that me fishing outside these times is a waste of time ??🤔

No. I guess many people will have different opinions of what times and tide conditions works for them, but i find the time in the tide cycle is just as important as the daily tide times.

Ultimately though, i have caught at all stages of the tide, but do consider the last couple of hours of the run off, particularly when the tide cycles are at their highest and lowest to be most productive.
