the haven fishery

hi all
i,ve booked to fish on the haven fishery for the 1st week of august and i was just curious if anybody had any usefull information they might like to share or any photo,s of swims i was hoping to get there on a recce before hand but work committments prevent me from doing so

There was a BFW fish-in on there a few years ago, but I've just looked and there doesn't seem to be a write up about it.

My club control some of the opposite bank of the haven, but I'm not sure any of the pictures will of much use to you.

Its generally typical Teme fishing. Lot's of snags with deep holes and shallow, fast water.

I remember the fish in I went on it!!!!!

My advice would be to take a rope and some crampons!!!!!The banks are quite steep.
I remember the tranquility of the place though. Far away from the traffic apart from the bird song the only other sounds I heard all day was a microlight flying over and Rayo snoring.

I love the Haven! Beautiful scenery and surroundings with some nice fish to go for too.

i,d preiously seen the site, looks a stunning bit of river from the photo,s on there, i,m there for five days so hopefully i will manage 1 or 2 fish.
i notice richard does a guided tour for 2hrs i might just have to settle for that as i cant get down before hand.
