It seems that there is a claim pending,,,, i assume its the same fish,,, ? Never thought i would see the day that we were heading nearer the 25lb mark, just makes me wonder how big ( given the right oppertunity) this species of barbel can grow to,,,

I have no interest really once it has been caught, and then again and a new record claimed it is becoming very 'carpy'.
But each to their own. I would rather see 20 male barbel in my stretch with a few females than a big 'spinster, female.
