I've been listening to this pod cast to today whilst failing to catch any tench. I found it intriguing so thought I'd share.

In this podcast Jack speaks with three guests from the UK Sturgeon Alliance in the form of Jenny Murray from Blue Marine Foundation, Hannah McCormick from London Zoological Society & Steve Colclough from Institute of Fisheries Management. They discuss the history of sturgeon in the UK and its potential future of returning.

With the filthy state of our U.K. rivers I can’t see it being successful until they are much improved.

It's not as far fetched as it might appear. They are migratory and are being re-stocked in France and Germany. There have been catches in our coastal waters. The podcast is interesting, well worth a listen.
