Hi all, could anyone please shed any light on this rod , I.e

Maybe a picture?.
Thanks in advance.
Jim

Did a search and this came up on BFW back in 2008 posted by 'Windsor Boy' . I had a brouchure thro the post with the half price items in then an email with the 10% xtra discount code so combined the two my 15ft Tremor Float rod
normally £349 was reduced to £150 with the 10% off I paid £135 plus p&p plus a free gift! If you join their discount club you get an xtra 10% off as well.

The Tremor and Tsi carp rods had fuji fittings.
Simeon bond of Free Spirit designed the rods. There’s some for sale on ebay.
Maybe contact Free Spirit.

I have a TFG 15ft x-plus carp match float rod probably from around that time which has a really good build quality. Struggled to find anything about that rod.

Yes I have the opportunity to purchase one , never seen the bank.
Nice one! If it’s anything like the Tsi I’m sure you’ll find it excellent. When you do receive it Jim can you send me some pictures and your thoughts on it. Be interesting to know the section weights as well because the tsi is quite a light rod for its power rating.

I'm in cahoots at the moment, if I purchase I'll surely let you know Richard.

Pretty sure I've got a 12' Tremor Float somewhere. It says 1lb 6oz on the butt section but I doubt it's that.
Used it for wildies at a local lake some years ago.
A lovely rod, very light with decent backbone.
Would be really interested if anyone has any details of blank used etc.
Cheers,

Steve
Another rod I never use that needs passing on to someone who will enjoy it.

I'm sure I was told by Alun Parsons that TFG & Free Spirit started at the same time and due to their size, neither were big enough on their own to purchase good quality blanks, but together they could. As a result the early TFG and Free Spirit rods were built on the same blank.

They had both intended to pitch their product at the higher end of the market, but in the end TFG ended up at the lower end and subsequently went bust.
