tfg barbel rods

I've got the 11' 1.2lb TC for low water conditions for fishing a bit lighter. Friend has the 12' too. Nice rods, very light and blanks are very slim. However they are expensive and by comparison to an i_power they do not measure up imo. They also lack detail like a keeper ring which I'd expect for the money. Shop around too, don't pay 249 for one, better deals out there.

How much???? £250 for a tfg rod, yet another over exaggerated RRP. They are calling them the best rods in the world though:eek::eek::)

you can get a vic gibson torrix 1.75tc for that...:rolleyes::confused::D

At that price I'm sure Matt Hayes thinks they are, the best profit making rod in the world....

Are they not made in the same chinky factory as Ron Thompson rods, or is that the reels?
