I think they are from the same chinaman who makes the free spirit ones! I used to have a couple but apart from the handle,the blanks were cheap and nasty.

Isn't TFG a Fishtec/Airflo brand, in which case, made in the Far East. Airflo produce some absolute cracking trout rods, and their blanks made in the Far East seem pretty good on quality but don't have the cachet of some of the more illustrious names.
