syndicates and stuff

I wonder if anyone can help me,,
A good few months ago somebody made a really informative and extensive post about syndicate or private water memberships.
The post as I recall was from the chaps own personal experiences.
I dont know any names or thread titles.
I am trying to find aforementioned post,, and cant!!

Anyone else remember it or know how to find it?
