I actualy spoke to John Baker about Super milk gold. He asked me which rivers I fish the Size of the rivers I fish and how often I fish the rivers. He then recommended something totaly differant Which was . Taste 4 Barbel base mix. Taste Liquid Food and ASM Flavour.
I've made boillies and paste out of this now im hoping the barbel like it. Send John an email he,ll adise you on whats best for the type of rivers that you fish. Very helpfull chap.

It catches but its certainly not worth the price. I always preferred Hi Nu-Val before I started making my own.

I have now made a batch of paste and will give it a good go on the Kennet. Just not sure if it's most effective in cooler water but we will have to see. Took a batch to the river last night. The crayfish liked it.

Strange, ive had some pm's from guys who have had excellent results on it and seen the posts from those who have done **** all on it, application methinks rather than duff bait! Cheers

Howard, milks have been used on the Kennet for well over a decade, they definitely work, especially in cooler water temps. Good luck.
