spawning

after the spawning has been completed will floods wipe the eggs out or will they hold no matter what within reason. or does the year class get lost?

Was thinking the same also how long do they spawn for initially.

I remember last year on the W/Avon the long dry summer we had there was loads of fry about .
This spring we have had loads rain/floods with more rain forcast .
It will be interesting to see as the summer progress's just how much fry there is about .
