We had a bit of rain in the Ribble valley yesterday
 
The free stretch is underwater unsurprisingly. The footbridge over the Darren at forty steps has gone. London Road and Victoria Road in Walton le Dale shut due to flooding.
 

The banks of the Bridgewater Canal near Lymm wear washed away into the River Bollin early this morning. Unbelievably intense amount of heavy rain came down.
