The CEO'S and directors need to be Jailed. Send a message to all the other companies that this sort of thing will not be tolerated. The money needs to go on Fishery work and things like Sea horse restoration projects.

Ofwat fined Southern Water in 2019 and the money was used for positive things. Southern Water are managed by different people now it should be stated, but Government 'self regulation' policy needs to change. As a ex pollution control officer I used to have keys for every sewage treatment works in my district and dropped in anytime I wanted, my warrant card to hand and we all knew what to look for. It was long before self regulation.
