A friend of mine has the 12ft 1.75s from
The Dark Carbon range and they’re fantastic rods.

I’ve got the 14ft Specimen Float from the same range and it’s an absolute dream.

I’m tempted myself, but for the time I get up on the ‘big boy’ rivers (especially if/when there’s some water on), I can’t really justify it.

It's a really nice rod, but I bought it on a whim thinking it would be a bit more powerful than my Chimera 3's for those situations when the river is really tanking through, and it isn't.
