11ft, 2 piece rods with very slim (10mm dia) green coil blanks 1lb test curve (approx – stated Action C-20) with twin leg guides throughout, gold tipped red whippings, hook keepers and 24” full cork handles with professionally fitted new Fuji DPS reels seats (replaced original loose sliding collars) and new cork flare to front of reel seat.
Ideal rod for pellet waggler / light feeder fishing / chubbing.
Rods are in excellent order for their age however some of the original cork has some odd marks / minor chips. These rods are a pleasure to play fish on with their through action that bends all the way to the butt. I was originally gifted one of these rods in 1984; my first ‘specimen’ rod and it had a reputation as one of the best Tench rods available at the time – this matching pair were sourced in later years but lack of current use forces reluctant sale.
