Silstar Boron Graphite 3574-330 - 11ft Specialist Rod
11ft, 2 piece rod with very slim (10mm dia) green coil blank 1lb test curve approx (stated Action C-20) with twin leg guides throughout, gold tipped red whippings and 24” cork handle with black sliding rings.
Ideal rod for pellet waggler / heavy float / light feeder fishing.
Rod is generally in good order however cork does need some attention on the collar and butt (mice damage) but can be easily fixed for a small fee by a rod builder – does not affect rods performance.
This rod is a pleasure to play fish on with its through action that bends all the way to the butt. Was a birthday gift circa 1984; my first ‘specimen’ rod and had a reputation as one of the best Tench rods available at the time – caught both my first tench and carp on this rod and have actually sourced another pair since (that I’ve added a more modern reel seat to and use to this day) hence sale. Comes with original cloth bag.
