Shrewsbury Stillwater

Just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a stillwater in the Shrewsbury area with some decent perch / roach fishing? The gf is on an induction course in two weeks from 9am til 3pm and i`ve offered to drive so will have a few hours spare (live in Wolves so will stay in the area). So, not looking to break any records, would just like a decent venue (pref not carp orientated) to spend a few hours.

Any suggestions guys????
 
You'll struggle to find a carp free day ticket place these days Mart! Just moved to Shrewsbury so don't know that many places, there's Spring Lea and Dorset pools for starters. Not fished Dorset pools but Spring Lea's quite nice.
Alternatively pop in to Total Angling they'll know a few places.
 
Cheers Rhys!!! Had a look at Dorset, was also recommended Mousecroft???

Just need to see a float going under for a few hours!!!!
 
Not fished mousecroft, it's an sfa water but think you can day ticket it, that said you need a key to get in so not sure how that would work. They've got three other pools as well.

Yeah, saw that bit about the key!!!! Might give the tackle shop a buzz close to the date. Ta for the help Rhys!!!!
