Hi can anyone tell me the differences between

the Shimano XTEA models the 6000, 8000 and 10000 ?

is it just the spool sizes ? or is there a difference in gearing and bearings ? I have looked on google but cant seem to find out ?
thanks for any help

Found this.
Thank you
but sadly its not in English BUT I think ?
the 6000 and the 8000 are in fact the same reel apart from the spool size ? its only the 10000 thats got different gearing and retrieve rate ??

I'm pretty sure with the all the older generations of rear drag shimmy baitrunners, the 6000 and 8000 are the same sizes, just different spool capacity. And the 10000 sizes are a bit bigger. But not quite as big as the 10000 XTE super baitrunner (which was a seriously good real).

If the 10000 has a lower gear ratio than the others, with all other things being equal it will be a higher torque reel. Ie you’ll get more power on the rotor for less pressure applied to the handle.
