I have been gifted 2 new ones of these in a week or so.

That means I have my 2 x this season useage ones for sale.
Both in perfect operating condition and just the odd little mark. Pretty much like new.

Instead of a RRP of £120 each or an ebay price of £90 plus postage these are £60 each postage paid or £55 each collected from Maidenhead Berks.

First come first served basis, whether you want one or both. Availble in 7 days time.

you sent me an email asking for a cheaper price

You then asked for details of the reels and what they had with them. I responded

Before you reverted back some time later, I was 'phoned and a local guy offered to buy them.

If you had offered to buy them initially they would have been yours. First come first served means an actual offer to buy not a question. If I had said no to the other chap, and then you decided against it would have been an unacceptable situation.

Graham it is pointless getting into an argument, "someone phoned an hour ago" you got an agreed price an hour and half before hand at least, if you got the price good for you...........lets leave it at that.

I accepted the offer from the local chap before I looked at my email intray. Especially as I was watching Spurs v Everton!!!!! This is borne out by the time of my response.

Now, as I said to you. If you had offered to buy them you would have got them. Instead you wasted time trying to haggle

Graham lets leave it at this as I said in the previous email, a lot worse happens.

Your sale was via email on your classified here! I could have traced you and asked someone to turn up at your house and present you with the offer in a wax sealed envelope, but unfortunately, I would have been beaten by one of those new fangled things called telephones (localy)

I have since bought from Mr Shipman a 5000 GTE, which will keep me occupied.

As for the football result well.........it won't matter the result who you support!
