Have you tried one Steven?
If not …… please do because I’m not going to lie here I think it’s an awful rod for trotting as are the older power loops.
Look for something with a bit more rigidity in the blank and that feels much lighter and better balanced.
2 shimanos that spring to my mind that are fantastic rods are the 450spc versions of the Antares or ultegra
