Can anyone tell the what is the actual differences in the 3000 and 4000 is it just the spool capacity?

Not sure of the actual difference in size, but I use the 4000 and it`s not too big, I just load the spool`s with backing line, and regularly change the 80 metres or so of main. For what its worth I would recommend them.

Ive got a 2500 and 4000 there's a bit of difference, I'd go for the 4000 if I were you the spools not huge.

It is just the spool size mate, the bodies are exactley the same.

I use a pair of 4000's on my Barbel rods loaded with plenty of 5kg Diawa Infinity Duo,.
Brilliant reels, the fighting drag is excellent and doubles as a 'baitrunner' facility.
