Shimano Baitrunner reel - bit needed

Graham Elliott

My 5000 XTEA managed to lose the silver bit holding the handle on yesterday.

I noticed the handle drop off but could not find the bit that holds it in place. It just screws onto the handle arm once threaded through the reel.

Anyone got a Shimano baitrunner that has died, I guess they are pretty standard, and has the spare bit leftover it can find a home at my house.

No luck with getting the return phone calls from spared dept Shimano after my left messages.

Please pm. Thanks

Graham

I will have a look in the garage tomorrow but I don't think I have a dead shimano, Mitchels, Daiwas and Cardinals maybe :)

It's a standard thread size so any old reel could be a donar, doesn't even have to be Shimano.... if you could live with that:p

Happened to me many times:mad:

I've got one, it's not silver, it's a black one, just checked, it fits my 5k xtea fine, it's missing the square bit but that don't make any difference.
