I had a call this morning from a very good friend who I have bought, originally a few of my Hardy's from. He knew I was looking for top end Shimano Feeders.
He has two of the above, brand new and complete. I see online that Uttings/TFT and Bobco have them at 269 and these are the cheapest. Angling Direct are way north of £300.
Anyway I am sorely tempted to have 1 as I have been looking for my aspire ultra for too long now.I am running out of time,Ha! I know one or the other they will go on Ebay next weekend as an auction with a starting bid of 225 plus carriage.. My pal, who I meet up with 5/6 times a year, is in Lincolnshire. I need to apologize for the figures I gave above. They are for the distance model , not the power distance .All I listings I can see are well over 300. Apologies again if I have mislead anyone.
 
It arrived today while I was vainly looking for tench. Beautiful rod, understand where AD get their price from. Far too powerful for me though, I have to reluctantly admit.
 
My pal sold his today on eBay for 220£ today. I will list mine next time when I get an 80% offer. Sad but I am kidding myself pretending I can use it.
 
Bump. Decided to list mine for sale. It's a serious large river/ lake feeder. Being the power distance feeder it's well over £300 everywhere. I bought at effectively trade price. It's new, beautiful rod with spiced tips of 3 ,4 and 5 Oz. I was kidding myself but at 78 it's far too powerful for me to get proper use from. Might consider mint 11' version or even FS 2 lb barbel in px. Looking for 210 and can discuss carriage if necessary.
