Shark in Suffolk Stour

Anyone else seen this? Absolutely incredible (to me, at least, who knows nothing about sharks in fresh water)......

Not unusual to see them in Estuaries, but I would bet it is not the River as such.

That could have been anywhere in the world. There was nothing I could identify to the Suffolk Stour.

What shark is it? Cos bull ( Zambezi)sharks are the only known shark to swim in fresh water. Or is it not fresh water?????

That looks very much like a smoothound, no teeth to worry about there, but 5ft, that's a huge one!!!!!!

Barbel rod would be a bit light Pete, something with a bit more poke to antagonise it would be better Somewhere in the comments it said it was likely that it had worked its way inshore searching for crabs and that it was likely to find em
