Sausage guns

My cheapo plastic gardner sausage gun has given up the ghost and I am in the market for an aluminium model. The gardner XT guns are a bit pricey - does anyone use one of the much cheaper aluminium guns being flogged on ebay and elsewhere? Are they any good?

My cheap gardner broke so I got a 5 quid one from b&q and with a bit of fiddling got it to work with the gardner tube. A lot stronger than the original gardner gun.
 
My sausage gun is working just fine. Ask Mrs M. Not bad for a 57yr old retiree.

Sorry, couldnt resist it....ahem....sorry.

Every time i get hold of a packet the missus buys a pot of vaseline ! no no not for that, she smears it on the bedroom door handle so's i can't get in :(

Blimey Simon....you could have been missing out on a real good time fella. Might be that, errr....'preparations had been made', cough, and someone was 'awaiting your pleasure'....and the surplus ended up on the door handle :eek:

Can we please get back to fishing related posts. It seems that some folk on this forum seem hell bent on going off on irrelevant tangents. I participate on this forum to give and receive fishing advice. I'm sick and tired of sensible fishing related threads being hijacked by people who seem to have nothing better to do than write a load of drivel about some unrelated fishing topic. I know that I speak for many forum members who share my frustration of having to wade through "reams" of nonsense to get to any colonels of worthwhile fishing parlance.
