The opening line of item description clearly and concisely answers Dave's question asked:
"In the last picture, what are the redish marks towards the edge of the dial face, particularly the one bottom left? are they surface/removable, or are they something going on under the glass?"
But these three comments were tops:
"Why are you getting rid of these...are you starting to have problem with them?"
"What are you going to use when these are gone?"
"Thats what bothers me Geoff." (this in answer to someone posting: wouldn't sell mine.)
I don't know why Jason is/was selling these scales but IMO you've put him in an unnecessary awkward position, as if he was (not saying you were Jason) selling due to financial hardship, you've placed him in a position where if he wished to successfully sell the item he must answer your question.
"Are you starting to have problems with them?"
Well if a seller is wishing to scam you they'll say no but in fairness the answer is in Jason's item description.
Some questions are better asked via a pm, 'P' for private, such as you (Dave) have done so with regards declaring any potential interest in this item.
Dave, just to clarify I'm not the "dumb" one, I use my limited bit of intelligence to consider how best to ask a seller questions, a shame others
don't.
John, I think your question directed to me has been answered above but to re-emphasise this, I'd ignore questions that are of a potentially sensitive nature and/or have already been answered.
Looks like another sales thread full of stupid snipey (go ahead deny but I'm not alone in my thoughts, only I tell so)
Jason, I'm glad the item sold as this wasn't exactly the smoothest running sales thread.
