RSPB Advert - Otters!

I'll raise the issue as I cant believe others are'nt thinking the same - on the Rivers section we frequently get adverts in the header section for the RSPB telling us what a great job do they do in protecting all wildlife and mentioning Otters (with a very appealing picture!) in particular - talk about rub your nose in it............

I don't want this to become some major issue/debate just an observation

Click on the link below and you will see that the RSPB website on how to become a member has a picture of an otter on it.

A lake where I fish used to support several pairs of great crested grebes, together with an assortment of coots and moorhens. (I’m sure other anglers have similar tales to tell.) Otters were illegally introduced and now there are no grebes and very few other water fowl. Otters are apex-predators and their over-zealous introduction all over the country by ‘well meaning’ do-gooders is causing untold harm to the natural balance of our rivers and lakes.
