I caught one on Tuesday that was sort of on rolling meat. Okay the river wasn't quite full-blooded floodwater, but a good few feet up and coloured. I wasn't specifically rolling meat, but in one swim I cast straight out into into a strong current and was allowing the current to sweep it round to get it under a tree at the edge of the current ... and a barbel took it as it was bouncing along the bottom.
It did make me think perhaps I should do that more often.
