Rod Repairs

Hello - has anyone got any recomendations for repairing rods? I have a Daiwa Powermesh where some of the cork handle has broken away, and an old Daiwa float rod with rings that need to be rewhipped. If they were near Christchurch, Bath, M4 Corridor or NW London then all the better as I could deliver/pick-up rather than post.

Not in your immediate area but I can highly reccommend Chas Burns at Burns built rods in York . He is an excellent rod builder and repairer , give him a bell on 01904 610357 , mention my name

Hi

heard Bob at Fosters does repairs and thats where 2 of my rods are now :)

Angling direct in Waltham cross. Had loads of rods recorked there and repairs are very cheap 01992 769 769.

Seconded Rob, recently had a new barbel blank whipped there with ten rings and hi-build which cost me £20, which in this day and age must represent decent value. I own rods from various builders, some names and some not, and to be honest, for me there is not enough quality difference to justify some of the premiums that the 'in fashion' names are commanding.
