Anyone been recently? Looks good from Web site. 80 miles away but good roads so seriously thinking I could make a trip. Guidance appreciated guys as always

Been many times over the years . It has evolved a few times . Now the Crucians are smaller but prolific . There are other silver fish which there never was . There are plenty of tench but no great size.
My advice is if you just want to catch Crucians is to fish close in over small amounts of loose feed introduced via a small bait dropper. It's a nice fishery with a decent passionate owner who deserves some support .I recall very small bits of luncheon meat outfished everything else last visit , but little bits of prawn , cockle and casters have worked in the past. Tight lines .
