River Test guided roach and grayling fishing

Hi All,
Andy F has kindly given me permission to let you all know about the guided fishing trips that I'm doing again this winter on the River Test, starting from the beginning of November.

Currently there are two main options;
Specimen roach fishing on the legendary Testwood Pool for a minimum of 2 anglers and a maximum of 3 anglers per day. Fishing in and around the Testwood Pool, primarily targeting the specimen roach that run to well over two pounds, with a three pounder definitely on the cards! A maximum of 2 bookings per week ensure that the Pool is not over-fished. B & B accomodation is available at Testwood Pool.

Specimen grayling fishing on the Nursling Beat of the River Test for 1 or 2 anglers per day. Extensive fishing is available on the main river and carriers, mainly targeting the grayling that also run to well over two pounds. A three pound grayling is a distinct possibility. Specimen dace and chub are also present.

PM or call 07743 484621 for more details.
regards, Tim Lennon

Will you be able to fish from the lawn Tim?

A thoroughly enjoyable day on the Nursling Beat on the Test today with Mr Lennon. Weather was just about spot on and we had a number of Grayling throughout the day. I had never seen one in the flesh before, let alone catch one so as you can imagine I was delighted to bag a couple around the 2lb mark (1 just over and 1 just under). A delightful stretch of water and Tim was a patient guide!
