Hi guys,
I have a powerful, faithful old float rod that I wished to do up, but when I stripped it down I found that the first ring on the second section had somehow been leant on so hard that it had cracked the blank under the feet of the ring
I know I can repair it with probably 10" to 12" of 2" wide carbon cloth and some two pack, plus possibly some heat shrink wrap to make a good job.
However, googling seems to turn up kits which include too much of everything, and cost £30 ish, which is more than I want to spend on just one part of the job.
Any ideas?
Cheers, Dave.
