Reels for Hi-s 2lb

Morning all,

Looking for a nice set of ether QD or bait runner prefer Daiwa but shimano not out the running to balance up for my mother themes work as well as my big pit weedy tench work.

Like the look so far of the castizm br

I have already whisker 25a but trying to leave my set ups as grab and go due to the limited time I have to fish.

Recommendation would be great.

Will be using mainly 12lb mono

Like the Whisker feeder there double money atm but only difference is the shallow spool over the whisker 25a

I've got those rods and have them with Shimano Thunnus 4000's. Same size as a 4000d, but lighter.

Okuma Aventa Baitfeeders in 6000 size are a nice and compact baitrunner with a very smooth and quick drag.

I've used them on my 2lb Barbel rods for a couple of seasons now and have never missed a beat. Build quality and smoothness is more akin to a real 2.5x the price.

Even have a full featured spare aluminium spool and proper round metal line clips, no cheap plastic rubbish
