RACG Yorkshire fundraiser (river Swale)

Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October

Mixed fish in

Whether your a predator angler, barbel angler or fly fisherman come and join us for a weekends fishing on an beautiful stretch of the river Swale.

A beautiful mixed fishery on the river Swale where you can fish the style of your choice, we will have predator, barbel and silver fish experts on hand so if you fancy trying a new style we have the best men about to advise and look after you, fancy learning how to drop shot or jig fish, maybe catch a double figure barbel, maybe you just want to come for a social and meet the lads, we have a brilliant weekend lined up for you followed by a fantastic bbq on the saturday night where we will have a raffle and auction with some fantastic prizes and a guest speaker to keep you entertained for an hr.

Access allowed from 5 pm on the friday for those travelling distances

Itiniery for weekend

Fri 21st

Meet on fishery from 5pm

Bbq and social

Saturday 22nd

7am meet on fishery

breakfast roll on arrival

Fish for the day

9am predator school with Dave Mutton

learn how to jig fish, drop shot and lure fish

12noon barbel fishing with Matt Marlow Angling and Paul Floyd

Let paul and matt show you there way with barbel, from tying rigs to there baiting approach

6pm depart for evening meal and auction

8pm Back to fishing for the night

Sunday 23rd

7am breakfast barm

fish for the day

The lads will be on hand all day to spend time with you if you so wish

5pm (depart fishery later if preferred)

£50 for the weekend (includes 2 bbqs and breakfast barms)

Max of 30 anglers

Jez - at the top of your post you refer to the 5th/6th October (which are a Friday/Saturday), then in the itinerary you list what's happening on the 22nd/23rd (September, presumably?). Which is it?

My post, as well as sounding curious, was also meant to prompt Jez to edit his post. I presume he will at some point.
 
Yes the dates are 5th,6th & 7th October. Jerry is recovering from a 24hr session on the Don where he added a double from another river to his already impressive record.
I have booked in and looking forward to it although I cannot get there until Saturday lunchtime.
