Quiver Tip Rod

Trying to decide whether to get the Fox Royal Specialist 1.5 Multi-tip Barbel Rod or the Drennan 7 Series Avon 1.5 does anyone have any experience of these rods?

I've had the 1.5 series 7 for many years now and cant fault it, it as a nice slow taper through the tip to the middle of the rod.

I would class it as an excellent chub rod and good for barbel on small to medium rivers with steady flow.

I've fell on it many times and got the line twisted round the quiver tip on casting and everything is still in one piece.

I haven't tried the fox but the drennan wouldn't disappoint

...and you also have the option of a 1,75 in the series 7

Maybe a bit more money, but the Drennan Super Feeder is my favourite Barbel rod and will handle anything you can throw at it.
