As you are all probably aware due to my numerous postings I'm not new to fishing but I am to Barbel fishing and yesterday my Free Spirit Seeker rods arrived for the Severn but to cut along story short I seen an advert for an 11ft 2lb Custom Punk Rod and after some researching on here they are made from H&H Evoke blanks and retailed at around £400 with a 1.75lb top half too so I messaged the seller to ask about it and it turned out to be the builder of the Punk range (so after a few discussions) he's going to build me the 1.75lb top half as well as a 1.5lb top half (as luckily he had lying around from his original stock) this rod will hopefully be perfect for the Welsh Dee (I will only be fishing it now and again) as its a small river which is on my doorstep he now just concentrates on the fly fishing world and he folded the Punk Rod range but I have to say what a genuine guy and I'm getting my rod with 1.5lb 1.75lb and 2lb top halves for £280 delivered they also come with Fuji Torzite guides
He did offer me a build on some Harrison blanks as he has a few left but I declined as up to yet I'm a Free Spirit
