Price advice.

Now I'm solely trotting for my barbel, my two Daiwa infinity barbel rods 2.25 lb are gathering dust. So they are going on EBay.

Both in above average condition, what should I be asking guys please?

Thanks, Richard.

Start at ~£80, and sell them separately Richard, with about 30mins in between their 'sale-end' time...mentioning in description that you do have 2 of them for sale ("See my other ad..."). Plenty of pics, clean them well first. Expect £240-280 for the two, but you may get £300+ if you hold onto them til early June next year. ......IMHO.

Richard - don't you think you'll ever revert to legering? Or have you other tools for the job? Just curious.....

Richard clean up the Cork handles with a dish scouring pad and some fairy liquid. It will clean them up like new.

Unless you need the cash I'd definitely wait until June before selling.

Set the auction to end on Sunday evening, ten day auction starting on a Thursday.

Or you could sell on another used tackle website and avoid the chancers and time wasters you'll get on ebay

Hi men ,

You could always settle on a price you want , and put them on the classified on here , with barbel anglers looking for rods ;)

Just to give you a guide price there are some new infinity barbel rods on eBay now buy it now price of £149.99.

the ones that were on ebay were the original infinitys and not the newer barbel "advanced" infinitys.. they were being sold by a company called "fishing mad" from newhill in scotland they had 1.75 and 2.25 tc's and were selling them for £149.99, they were selling fast and it now looks like they have all gone..

I got £240 for a pair (1 x 1.75 and 1 x 2.25) and they were almost mint. I am very tempted to sell my current set ups and try and get a pair of 1.75's as they were lovely rods I just preferred the old build with part duplon part cork.

I bought 2 x 1.75s second hand a couple of years ago for £220 and they were mint. I have seen and used most Barbel rods and Imo, the infinity is the best off the shelf rod available.
