You Could, but you would be better of PRE soaking it:)
 
Soak for a min 24hour better 48, bring to boil place in large cooler box. Ideally let the mix ferment. I do 4 gallon at a time. Works very well. Lots of info on the net.
 
maybe not the exact same , but ive used my local bait firms seed/nut mix, in the past on the ribble , one very memorable session springs to mind ;)
