Photographed any monsters recently?

The Yorshire otter trust would be well chuffed with that shot.
Was there more than one or is it branches behind the head?
Must have worked wonders for the confidence if you were fishing that swim!

Some of the papers would have loved it though, wouldn't they?
Have recently spent a fortune at Spec savers for close up specs. which only seem to work if you can be bothered to wear them!

Did remind me of a poor sighted over zealous bailiff mate of mine who, when walking the river without his glasses, noticed a guy fishing with his 'dog'.
There was a canal and a flood channel between both of them and my mate shouted " oih!! ...you're not supposed to 'ave dogs on this fishery!"
The guy replied " it's not mine it's ......"
It was a windy day and the bailiff couldn't hear him and wasn't really interested in his reply.
The exchange went on for a little longer culminating in the frustrated bailiff saying he would have to walk round to him and sort it.
The guy had one last go and screamed "it's a bloody calf !!"
He also happened to be a bailiff himself and recognised my mate who still hates to be reminded of the following weeks AGM, where he took some hilarious stick.
Priceless ::D

Ah good old blindness! I was once talking to a bloke at the local pond when he shouts out " look at that over there, big white rabbit"
rabbit was a white cat!!

Short sighted!

Nowt wrong with Gaz's long sight, he can see a fox on top of a hill 100yds away in the pitch black:D:D

Its how they sneak up on you that gets me, sitting in your chair , stand up to stretch and spook about 50 bloody cows all standing watching you from 2 yards away

Cow porn

Worst scenario is having a herd around and behind you on the bank when a frisky heffer decides to mount another and charge through the rest of them splitting the herd like the Red Sea whilst heading straight at you
I still prefer cattle to horses though,.. had three that mugged me and the brolly in September on the Avon, scary when they are towering over you whilst sitting on a low chair.

It would pay to make yourself less attractive to heffers, you are obviously turning them on too much. You can't really stop them in their tracks with "look sorry, you're just not my type".

I agree about horses. An unbelievable cheek to sit in your chair, low or otherwise.
