Peregrine rod

Roger Peregrine is a good rod builder as we all know but I do have a question
He has built a rod a Torrix 12ft 1.75lb with torzite eyes and has a spliced tip of 4oz (the spliced tip was done by Harrison) I'm not a conusuir so is the spliced tip OK for the upper and middle section of the Severn as if its ok for them reaches it will be fine for the Welsh Dee too

If you ring Roger and speak with him he’ll put you right and look after you 👍🏻 also I can vouch for his workmanship he’s a quality builder 👌🏻
