Paste Base Mix

Hi,

I am interested in having a go at making my own paste and possible boilies this year. I have some ideas with the additives, just keen to understand what base mix to use for the paste?

On my shopping list is Semolina, Ground rice and Soya flour mixed with eggs.

Any suggestions gratefully recieved?

As somebody who has spent many hours playing around with base mixes back in my carp fishing days I would say "give it a miss"...My recommondation is use a quality base, Nutrabaits Big Fish Mix or Nutrabaits Trigga....you can still play with your additives but in these two bases you have a good foundation for both paste and boilies....Don't use too much egg for the paste mix and you will get a paste which will breakdown and add attraction...A kilo bag will give you plenty of bait..
