parking at the river severn (danery)

Hi ive been looking on google maps and cannot seem to find anywhere to park up when you are fishing the river severn (danery stretch, BAA).
Could anyone give some advice please.
Thanks Dave

David,
Park on the grass verge in the bus stop layby....I've not had a problem and even had a conversation with a local bobby one evening when loading the car and he said nothing!!!....:D

Thanks for that, I wasn't looking that far along on google maps. It seems like a fair walk to the baa stretch. Do you think it's worth giving it a go at the moment? I'm totally new to baa and would love any local knowledge.

I fished there last week (and previous seasons) David and the bus stop laybye in question is at the top of the footpath leading to the river. Approx distance to the river about 40 yards....Check out Joe's link to the fishery page on BAA?..I only caught one fish in a fairly short evening session but fish were rolling so they are present in the stretch at the moment..

Hi David, Parking in the road is fine. Or there is a layby back a bit accross the road. As Bill says the first swim is about 40 yds away from the road. I have fished there many times and never had problems parking in the road.

Regards Ray Thorpe.
