I have a pair of tf gear nantec big river barbel rods,1 is slightly older than the the other as i bought them new seperately within a couple of months..
2.0lb test and two tops, one an avon top and the other a quiver section with a 4oz white push in tip, drennan tips will fit these with a slight sanding down so you can have other option of tips if you so wish..
these were my personal rods and so they are virtually spotless with just the cork handle on one of the rods a little darker compared to the other because of a little more use... i bet i haven't used these more than half a dozen times and only selling due purchase of an i power, they have a lovely through action with plenty of balls..
