Pair of Harrison Advanced Chimera Barbel Rods 11' 6" 2lb TC SOLD

I have a pair of Harrison Advanced Chimera Barbel Rods 11'6" which I believe are 2lb Tc.
They are in excellent used condition and come with quality cloth rod bags
The tips between top eye and the next ring have been coloured white.
£260 the pair NOW SOLD
Collection only from the edge of the New Forest between Salisbury and Ringwood.

Funny you should say that Derek but over the years on BFW I consider the majority of members may now come from the Midlands or the North and the number of members from the southern counties appear to be decreasing.
I wonder if that has anything to with the decline of the barbel population on rivers such as the Hants Avon or the Dorset Stour.
When I first moved to the above rivers in 2003 the majority of my fishing was for barbel and I have to say I really enjoyed it and did quite well. But now chub, roach, dace and grayling are the main targets as I cannot get any enthusiasm for sitting behind a rod for days on end waiting for a solitary bite.
I may be wrong in my observation but I have certainly believe it to be true about the membership distribution.
Though moving up North to sell off my excess gear may be a step too far.
