You have P.M.
Regards Clive

Thanks guys for the huge response to this sale, all PM's replied to.

Though I must say gobsmacked doesn't even come close to my thoughts of one members (high) offer but sadly the profanity filter and forum rules dictate I refrain from telling my actual thoughts....... Just bear this in mind next time you see fit to ruin someone elses sales thread, I KNOW EXACTLY HOW TWO FACED YOU ARE!!:(

Sold pending usual.

out of interest, what TC is the butt section or is there one butt section for both rods?

Jon

Jon,
Two rods = two butt sections (one per rod)
Two rods X twin tips = four tips (two tips per rod)
Same as pretty much every twin tip rod, I believe?!

Regards butt t.c, seeing as the tip section will bend considerably quicker than the butt, its a fair assumption that the rods overall t.c can be ascertained as an accurate gauge to its power rating on an individual tip (only) basis.

I'd imagine the butt section is the same as found on the 2.25lb test single tip version and the 1.75lb test tip offers a softer option, thus greater versatility.
No doubt many will say the second tip section is a compromise not worth making.... In which case they'll have to buy four rods.

Anymore questions, you're best off contacting Daiwa.
Or buy one, though not either of these as I'm not taking anymore bids.

Colin i have a 2.25 Infinity Advanced Barbel, and i thought you had bought the spare tips seperately as i have never seen them advertised as a twin tip and was curious if they used the same Butt section for either the 1.75 or 2.25TC rod.
